HFEA highlights Fertility Week 2019
The week’s focus is to spread awareness of fertility issues to a wider audience.
To mark this year’s Fertility Week, we’ve teamed up with the BBC to raise awareness of fertility issues.
BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 5 Live are hosting a week of fertility topic related programming to mark UK Fertility Week from 27 October to 3 November.
The programmes look at important issues such as male infertility, donor conception and the rise of DNA testing websites, egg freezing, BAME fertility patients and much more.
On Tuesday 29 October BBC Radio 5 Live is hosting a special Fertility Day in partnership with BBC Radio 2, which will see their entire programmes focus on fertility topics throughout the day. In support of Fertility Day, we’ve published updated figures on egg and sperm donation. This data includes an update of key information from the March 2019 report on donation. It includes updated data on the number of sperm and egg donor registrations.
At the end of the week, we’ll be attending the fertility show in London. If you’re going along, come and see us at our stand.
